Sydney Zimmerman ...Personal Statement
My main goal is to get a great education so that I can have a successful career. I have been playing lacrosse since the third grade and LOVE this sport, so I want the opportunity to make it part of my college experience.
I am a hard worker and try my best to do what is right - not only for myself but also for my team, both on and off the field. I am not a selfish player and feel that a good assist is as important as a goal. I think I have good field vision and try to anticipate things before they happen. My stick skills are very strong with either hand, and my footwork is good.
Lastly, I have been told by teachers that I am a strong student and coaches have said that one of my biggest strengths is that I'm very coachable. My competitive spirit is VERY high...I expect a lot from myself and like to play with others who do the same.
