Abigail Trosin '21 Recruiting Profile

My friend introduced me to lacrosse  when we were in 4th grade and I've been in love ever since. I have been playing for 5 years  and I have learned that I have a strong leadership quality. I love helping other people learn the sport better and I strive to help athletes improve.  I am a strong presence on the field, always looking to make the play that will help my team win.  I am hoping to improve my leadership quality throughout high school and into college.  My coach has encouraged me to grow my presence as a leader on the field, a goal I plan to achieve. 

As I enter  high school my academic goal is to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA. I have the same academic goals for college as well.   My dream is to work in the healthcare field, helping people feel good about their mind and body.   I am driven to find a college that will help me achieve not only my academic goal, but my athletic goal as well.

As an athlete I am always excited to try new things and to make friends along the way.  Being a student athlete has taught me how to manage my time both on and off the field and how to work with others to achieve a common goal.  Being a college athlete will help me maintain focus and achieve my dreams of pursuing a career in the medical field.
