I am freshman and I played this past summer with our Varsity Womans Club team, the Libertyville Lady Warriors. I have been playing lacrosse for 5 years and after this past summer I am certain that I want to play in college. Playing with older and more experienced players taught me to play more as a team. In the past I was bigger than most of the girls and I could just drive the ball to the goal. I have developed into much more of a team player. I am aware of where my teammates are on the field and I continue to try to be thinking about what I am going to do next. I work extremely hard in the offseason, and my goal is to improve every year. In addition to Lacrosse, I also play golf in the fall and I am actively involved in our ACE program. Academics always come first for me and I would never let sports get in the way of my grades. So I work hard in the class room to make sure that this is never an issue. I am a coachable player and I am respected by my teammates. I work hard in the classroom and volunteer in my community. I am above all a good person, and ultimately I think I will be asset to whatever school I choose to attend. So I hope you will begin to watch me develop over the next few years!
