2017 Playoff High...Personal Statement
I have been working hard in classes and sports to prepare for college and after. I like science and math and I am taking a lot of college prep level courses, but I have not decided on a career yet, so I am currently looking for a school that offers a lot of degrees. And I would like to play college hockey in a competitive program. I am currently captain of my Tier II u16 girls team (Princeton Tiger Lilies), and I have helped my girls teams advance to u16 Tier II Nationals for each of the last two years. I also play varsity field hockey and lacrosse.

- 2017-2018 Season: Cassie was named Captain and the team has had a good start in season play, in first place, and in tournament play, winning the U16aa division at the Pittsburgh Thanksgiving Classic. Cassie is near the top of the scoring statistics in league play, and in Pittsburgh had a goal in the semifinal game and the game winning goal in the championship game. 2016-2017 Season Summary: At the end on the U16 Tier 2 regular season, Princeton Tiger Lilies (PTL) U16 finished in second place in league standings. The team went on to the MAWHA playoffs for 2 games, losing in the championship game. This put the team into the District Challenger Series weekend for 3 more games. The team won all three games to advance to the AAHA District Championship, a best of 3 against the Colonials, who had beaten PTL in the Playoff Championship game. PTL beat the Colonials 2 games to none and advanced to the USA Hockey National Tournament in Troy, Michigan. At Nationals, PTL was ranked 11 of 12 Tier II teams at the tournament. They went 1-2 in Group play, which was enough to advance to the quarterfinals in elimination play. PTL played the Vermont Shamrocks, who finished second in the tournament, and lost in a hard-fought battle.
