My parents claim I was born with a nature to be nosey so going to college to pursue degrees within my interests of math and science follows my instincts and character. I favor engineering since I get to use my favorite academic subjects. My hardworking attitude refuses to let go of a problem until I get results. Determined success is my aim. I maintain an A average in high school, while also pursuing an associate degree during the weekends. When people ask me what I do to relax, my answer is always hockey. I love hockey because it allows me to be a team player while using the same skills I use in school to solve problems. My friends prefer video games while my preference is teamwork among teens. My coach tells me I follow directions well, and I know that skill is also a result of my fascination with math and science. I really enjoy discussing and creating hockey plays with my teammates, who tell me my ability to see the BIG picture helps us all win. I develop my engineering and hockey skills when I build robots in my engineering class. I know a lot of people don’t see the connection, but my favorite sport and my favorite classes all make me who I am! My parents and teachers agree that you would be ahead of the other colleges. Are you ready to find out?
