At age 5 I started playing flag football and wrestling. As a young athlete I made it to multiple state championships as a wrestler. I received the award of a 2x freestyle state champion as well as a 2x folk style runner-up. When I got older I started playing pop warner football and learned that I had a passion for the sport. During the time I have been playing for the Gilbert chandler pop warner and AYF football leagues, I have gone to the state championship twice, winning one of those, with my team. I have dedicated a lot of time off the field to improve my speed , strength, and conditioning. As a three time defensive captain I believe that I can make a good impact on a team by being a leader and motivating my teammates. I feel I have what it takes to one day play at a colliegate level.
As an 8th grader I'm striving to improve myself, not only on the field but off the field, academically as well. I know going to high school next year, academics are just as important as doing good on the field. I am glad to be a part of a program that will guide me to be successful. It is my dream to go to a Division 1 college, to challenge myself academically. Also, to maximize my growth and talent as an athlete. I am willing to work hard and push myself to be the best I can be.
