After high school, I visualize college for myself as a term where a great amount of growth will occur. As an individual, I have huge aspirations to gain a career in the medical field that has a relation to sports. Volleyball has taught me many things that no other sport has. I have learned over time that losing builds character. Although nobody likes to lose, without it, you would never know what it would be like come out on the top. By playing the game of volleyball, I have strengthened my leadership skills on and off the court. I do not shy away from leading my team, even if I may be the youngest player there. I always pay attention to detail and am very observant. Even when my team may be losing, I always remain positive and optimistic. I have recognized that the positive energy I possess is transferred to my team. As an athlete, I am always looking for different ways to improve upon my skills and I will always be there give my maximum effort 100% of the time. I am always there to encourage my teammates. My attitude and decisions are solely motivated by what is best for my team and our current situation.
