Shannon O'Hara '20 Recruiting Profile

Currently, I am interested in continuing my competitive diving training and eventually would like to compete at a collegiate level college while perusing a medical degree (i would like to be a trauma surgeon).  I am a very hard worker and have dedicated myself to training 3-5 times a week year round. This includes diving practice, skill training, cardio and strength training.  On both my club and high school team, I am a positive leader.  I am currently training with the Head Coach of the Saint Bonaventure’s Woman’s and Men’s Diving Team and the Southern Tier Diving Club – Stephanie Fleming (Email - [email protected]).  My high school team competes in Class C / Section 6 in New York.  This year (2017) my hard work has paid off as I qualified for ECIC (placing 5^th within my division) and placed 4th with "podium honors" at NYS Sectionals with a 11 score dive record of 312.60 and placed 12th overall.  I hold a 3.7 GPA while taking multiple AP and honors classes and am proud to stay that since 6^th grade I have never missed my goal of making honor roll.  In addition, I also duel sport, Swimming & Diving and Cheerleading (both football and basketball), along with Indoor/Outdoor Track.  I also was on the "Travel Team"  with Tumble Bees Gymnastics Club - Orchard Park (2015-16) and traveled to ESPN Gymnastics Competition in Florida and placed 4th overall on the Vault.  I enjoy being very active in Human Rights Club, Key Club and French Club at Springville GI High School.
