The goal of upmost importance to me, is to attend a college that offers superior academics, so I can attain my dream of working in the medical field. I aspire to become a physician, not only to help people, but because I truly believe that those who dedicate their lives to helping others lead a very fulfilling life. I feel I would be an asset to your team because my personal philosophy on the court is that five should become one. This means that no player is more important than another. As a point guard, my job is to assist and lead the team to meet our fullest playing potential. I feel I am different, but no better than any other player, because I am very passionate, unselfish and extremely driven to be the best person I can be on and off the court. I am extremely responsible and self motivated in the classroom as well as with my athletics. As a young adult, the pressures are high to fit in and to do the right thing. I am proud that I am the kind of person who makes a great effort to lead by example and to accept all people into my life. I believe that my passion for the game of basketball and my willingness to accept criticism makes me a very coachable player and supportive teammate. If I am fortunate enough to play the sport I love at the next level, I will never take that opportunity for granted and always do my best to meet my fullest potential.
