Ever since I was 3 years old I have been a multi-sport athlete, and that has shaped me into the person I am today. Being an athlete has taught me many different things, but the one that stands out the most is being a team leader on and off the court. My first word was basketball, and that is when my parents knew I was interested in playing. Everywhere we went, all I wanted to do was play basketball with the older kids in the neighborhood. I have always had a love for the game of basketball and that will never change. This year I joined PWP's AAU 2020 Elite team, but in the past I have always played for Swish 2019. I was fortunate enough to make varsity basketball and soccer team my freshman year, while maintaining a 4.14 GPA. I got to start in some of our basketball games we played, but was always the first person off the bench. We won the Plainview Tournament and made it to the quarterfinals in the Oklahoma State. Tournament. This year I made the varsity basketball team, and continue to see myself grow as a player and a person every year. My goal is to someday play at the college level, get my bachelor's degree, and make my family proud.
