Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Victoria Rappach and I am a junior attending Howland High School. My life is all about my grades and sports. I always try my best at school. I have taken honors classes throughout high school and have managed to maintain decent grades and a 3.727 grade point average. I am a part of a volunteer club called Interact and Howland's Spirit Task Force. I was accepted into National Honor Society during the 2014-2015 school year. I want to attend college. As of right now, I plan on going into the nursing field and becoming a nurse anesthetist. I have loved the game of basketball for as long as I can remember. I feel that I have had a few pretty successful high school basketball seasons. I played varsity during my freshman year. As a sophomore, I made 1st Team All-County, 2nd Team All-League, and Honorable Mention All-District. I made 61 three pointers during my sophomore year which broke the record at Howland for the amount of three pointers in a season. As a junior, I made 1st Team All-County, 1st Team All-League, 2nd Team All-District, and Honorable Mention All-State. I made 9 three pointers in a game which broke the record for the amount of threes in one game. I made 89 threes during the season which broke the record for the amount of threes in a season. I have made 174 threes in my career which broke the record for the amount of threes in a career. I shot threes at a 53.6% which broke the record at Howland for three point percentage. 53.6% also is 2nd in the state of Ohio for all time three point percentage in a season. I just enjoy the sport of basketball and wish to keep playing the game. I always hustle and give my best effort in all games and practices. I do not have a huge number of turn overs when I play because I play smart. I feel that I am a great team player and will be a good addition to any team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
