As an athlete I inspire to make it to the college level and continue my dream of playing basketball. I also want to go to a college that has my major so I can play while also planning for my future. I am hardworker that will try anything and do anything to make the team and myself better. Not only am I a hard worker on the court, but I also value my academics. I feel without academics there is no athletics, to better my studies I decided to take all advanced, college, and advanced placement classes. My freshman year my GPA was a 4.3, going into my sophomore year I hope to better my GPA and reach for new goals.
What I think makes me different from other recruits is my personality and go getter mentality. Not only do I value academics and basketball, but I also play volleyball for my high school, I'm a member of my local 4H, have received my bronze award for Girl Scouts (working on silver and gold), a member of student council, an elementary basketball coach for 4-6th graders, volunteer for safety town and other local organizations, and I have also been doing local plays and musical productions in my local community.
I hope that my hardwork and endless efforts to make myself a better student, athlete, and person will get me into a college to play and study what I love. I will continue to work until I reach my goals and I am happy with what I have acomplished.
