11/8/17: My goal is to get an academic and athletic scholarship to a school for basketball; a college that will take me far into my basketball career. Ever since 3rd grade, my twin sister Kaylie (NCSA #4746312) and I knew that in order to succeed and pursue our dreams, we would have to work harder than anyone else both on and off the court and that’s why we take basketball very serious every single day. It is not just a seasonal sport that we go out for, it has become our life. I am a very hardworking, humble, competitive, and confident person. I also never let myself down when I make a mistake and I always cheer up my teammates that get frustrated. My twin sister and I are truly the same person and we always push each other to become superstars both on and off the court. Most people that watch our games can never tell us apart because we both have amazing ball handling, dribbling and shooting skills. What makes me different from other individuals is my fancy ball handling and dribbling. I love crossing people with my dribble moves then attacking to the basket. My shooting is another key area that I’m proud of. I can catch and shoot off the dribble, dribble-pull up, and attack to the basket with a strong finish. Coach says that I’m very light on my toes and that’s why I’m good at defense as well. I have quick hands to get steals then my quick feet help me get layups or I’ll pull up and do a jump shot. Academically, I’m a A-student in school and always give my best effort on assignments, quizzes, or tests. When my sister and I finished our game this week, the JV coach asked us if we wanted to MOVE UP to JV and maybe dress for Varsity! We are so thankful for this opportunity! This is a step to achieve our goal of getting both academic and athletic scholarships to college! Instagram: @kyliecrab_04 / sister: @kayliecrab / mother: @renee.c.mn
