Alyssa Sandle '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyssa Sandle. I am a fraternal twin born in 2002 in Sacramento, CA and I live in Roseville, CA. From the time I can remember I loved basketball. My dad told me I picked up a basketball and started dribbling with both hands at 2 ½ years old. I have played softball, run track for my middle school, and played select soccer. Basketball is my favorite though. I started playing basketball in the 3^rd grade and have not stopped. I am the starting point guard for the JBS 2021 I team (Just Believe Sports) coached by Sean Chambers. Sean is the Antelope High School girls’ varsity coach. My JBS team won the 2017 Girls 2021 Adidas Silver Gauntlet tournaments in Dallas, TX, and Phoenix AZ.

I have strong ball handling skills, great court vision, the ability to make threes, drive and kick, a high basketball IQ and a team leader. I am very coachable, hardworking, and have fun playing. I work hard on my skills and have a personal basketball trainer to teach me one on one game skills and creative shooting.

I just started 9^th grade this year at Roseville High School and plan on playing point guard for the varsity team this year. I am enrolled in AVID (college prep program) at Roseville. My goals are to set at least one career mark at Roseville High for basketball, earn a college degree in physical education, play in the WNBA, and coach women’s basketball.
