My basketball journey began when I was 5 years old at my local community center. Although, I participated in other sports as a child, such as gymnastics, cheering, and tae kwondo, my passion was basketball. I would like my basketball journey to continue by playing for a college that offers business as a major. I am a dedicated, motivated and responsible athlete. I wake up at 4:30 in the morning to participate in basketball training and run hills 4 to 5 times a week. I look forward to bringing this work ethic and enthusiasm to the game at the collegiate level. I would also bring my leadership skills, as I like to encourage and assist my teammates to be the best players they can be. I often tell them that when they are getting tired, push though it, because it's mind over matter. I realize that grades matter just as much as skills, which is why one of my goals for this year is to have a 3.7 GPA.
