As a student-athlete, my overall goal is to obtain a college education; I have found basketball not only fun, but a gateway to higher education.
I'm a 5'11, SF/PF Senior at Etiwanda HS. I have started on the Rancho Cucamonga Lady Cougar basketball varsity team since my Freshman year. I was 2nd Team All-Conference and earned the Coaches Award in my sophomore year. Last year our team went to CIF State where we were defeated in the 2nd round. As a junior, I was co-captain of the team. Now as a senior at Etiwanda HS, I will continue to be a strong varsity team player, looking forward to the CIF State Championship!
I am dedicated to the game and I anticipate basketball to take me to new heights. I am open to excellent academic colleges and location is not really a major issue for me. I plan to major in Business, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. I hope to play at the highest competition level possible and I look forward to playing for a school and coach giving me the best opportunity to excel in my academics.
I, like many student-athletes, do have a financial need in order to attend college; I am confident that my family support and other aid/grants will help me reach my goal.
On campus, I am a member of Fellowhip of Christian Athletes, and the Black Student Union; off campus, I am a Youth Ministry leader/mentor at Free In Christ Community Christian Center, Fontana CA.
