Hello my name is Dajahnai Capell, I have been involved in basketball since I was about six years old. I have been practicing with my stepfather since about 4. I played for a youth team at 6 for Encanto. I also played for my middle school (Harriet Tubman Village Charter School) in 7th and 8th grade. The two positions I played were small forward and center. The coach put me as point guard before as well and a few other areas just to see my definite position and she believes it was center and small forward, which I didn't mind because I am comfortable playing those positions. But, I am always up for a challenge, other positions wouldn't frighten me. After games people from other teams and parents would always say to me that I am aggressive in defense, great at free throws and I am a good team sport. Every morning since I was about 11 I wake up and run around my block twice and go shooting around at the "street ball courts" then later throughout the day I go to the gym for about 2-3 hours max, I also exercise for about a good 2 hours. basically I'm saying my life revolves around basketball; I love it, I wake up to it and go to bed to it. I'm also a good team player. All my team mates that I have had since middle school love having me on their teams, they say I'm always the life of the team. My grades are good I just don't like when I get C's. Those C's push me harder to get it up to a B or A. I hope I have explained my self well and told you about me in good detail.
