I refuse sit here and write about becoming the best player in the world , because truth is I never will be in my opinion . One thing about me is I feel that having talent and being naturally good at something will get you no where in life .I believe it takes tears , sweat , and dedication to get you where you want to be. I personally don't want to rely on my talent to get me where I would like to be . I push myself hard to develop my skills . I give it my all when I do something . Especially when I'm playing basketball. You see, basketball is more than a sport to me . People pay thousands of dollars to go see a doctor for depression or mental help all the time. The weird thing about my doctor is he doesn't speak except for when he swishes thought the net. Basketball was a big safe heaven for me when I moved from California to Alabama. Having no friends and knowing no one was hard for me. When I put that ball into my hand it was like I had lost all my worries , ' hakuna matata, ' as they call it . When the ball was in my hand , it made me feel like all my feelings had vanished . Basketball is not just a sport for me , but it's a life style . I am going to do whatever I have to do to keep my lifestyle on track . Realizing the student comes first in student athlete , I know my grades are my top priorities . Keeping them can be hard at times , because I mean , life is hard, but I always pull through the it because I know I can't make it if I don't pull through the .
Before 2020, I hope to hear back from anyone who thinks I would be a perfect fit for their team . My drive is on 100 and I'm never slamming my brakes . I will represent no matter where I'm at .
