Tayler Clabaugh '20 Recruiting Profile

The one thing that has influenced me the most is, my Father. He has always pushed me to do things to my maximum potential even if I did not want to do it.  He has also taught me that once you start something you need to finish it, to this day I live by those things. I started playing T-Ball when I was in 1st grade. I then switched over to softball in 5th grade, I've always had a love for the game and I am not ready to give it up yet so I want to further continue my softball career into college.  From playing softball I have learned that if you make a mistake not to get down on yourself because once you get down on yourself you are most likely to make that mistake again. Every time I make a mistake I tell myself "You will get it next time".  I want to graduate high school and go to college to become a Pediatric Therapist, I want to be a Physical Therapist because the thought of dealing with sports injuries and helping people in general interests me. To get where I am today I had to overcome all of my failures in life, not only in softball but outside of softball as well.
