I have two main goals that I continually work toward. I want to be a primary catcher for a Division I college and I want to study Electron Microscopy at a top tier university. I believe that I would make a strong candidate for a program because I am a person of character. I approach all of my endeavors, be it academics, athletics, or social situations, with 100% effort and I have an extremely positive attitude.

I am also a very vocal leader on the field. I use my voice to control and fuel the energy throughout the defense, as well as to direct and organize the defense. As a catcher, the people I have the most synchronized relationship with are my pitchers. I have gotten to know each of them individually, and so I am able to contour my play to their specific needs. Because of this strong relationship I have with them, I am able to not only understand their pitching styles (strengths, weaknesses, specific spins, windup and release, miss prediction, etc.), but also to understand their mental position on and off the field. This is important in knowing how to balance pushing my pitchers to their maximum potential while taking care of their needs.

More importantly, I work hard, hustle, and do the right thing, even if no one is watching. I believe that this is what sets me apart from most players. I understand that it takes my full passion and all of my energy to be successful in achieving my lofty goals, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to reach them. I also consider myself to be a leader by example. Every day I try my best to set an example for others of what it means to be a truly genuine person. I own up to my mistakes, treat people with kindness, work hard, and approach everything presented to me with a competitive fire. I strive for excellence in everything I do and I want to help others do the same.

I am looking for a highly competitive collegiate program with a coach and teammates that will be able to push me to my maximum potential. I aspire to find a program in which I can lead and have great chemistry with. I need to be able to work seamlessly with my coaches and understand my teammates, especially my pitchers, in order to be as successful as possible.
