I have many goals I wish to accomplish during my college years. Some of my aspirations include excelling in both my studies and my softball career as well as playing for a great organization in a comfortable environment. College has always been a part of my plan and playing college ball has always been my dream. I have had a passion for softball my entire life and my love for the sport only grows each and every day. I believe I would be a great candidate for your team because I possess many qualities that are vital on and off the field. Ambition, compassion, cooperation, and determination are just a few of the traits that I comprise. I strive to succeed in everything that I do. Whether it is sports or academics, I do not accept failure as an option. I am also a very warmhearted person, I care about others and wish only the best for everyone. I am able to work very well with others as well which is imperative in the game of softball. Being a determined person, when I start something, I do not quit until it is finished and done well. This could be as small as a practice, an assignment, or as substantial as perfecting a new pitch. I believe these attributes along with my diligent work ethic make me stand out among other recruits. I have been a busy girl my entire life and my everyday schedule is definitely not easy. However, my busy agenda has enabled me to develop a good balance between my extracurriculars and school. Because of my ability to maintain this balance, I believe I would be able to perform well in college while keeping up my grades. Over the years, I have surrounded myself with a positive atmosphere ensuring that I become a well rounded human being. I possess a very studious attitude toward both my education and my softball career; I make schoolwork a priority and softball a prime extracurricular as well. I have acquired many academic achievements during my time as a student. For example, I was in the top ten percent of my class during both my seventh and eighth grade years and I also received the academic B award as a freshman. I was able to maintain a 4.0 my freshman year and still hold it today. I have participated in many sports throughout my life however, I knew right from the beginning that softball was for me. Because of my love for the game and my dream of one day playing at the next level I have devoted my life to improving my skills one day at a time. I believe that I have the ability to compete at the collegiate level and am very eager for the opportunity to turn my dream into a reality.
