Ashlyn Harvey '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been dreaming of playing college softball since I was 10 years old. That's also the age I was when I took my first pitching lesson and I haven't looked back since. Whether it's weekends, free time, or family vacations I always find time to do something to improve my softball skills.

I attend a small rural school in western New York and have been fortunate enough to be a three sport athlete, however my passion is softball. I plan to continue my education and softball career at the collegiate level. I plan to major in athletic training and pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. I have a tremendous work ethic and a never say die attitude. I am able to manage playing three sports for my school and play on a college showcase softball team out of Pittsburgh. In addition, I am on the honor roll, in advanced math and science classes and was elected the class president for the class of 2021.

I have worked hard and aspire to play college softball, for the love of the game. I cannot imagine never playing the game after high school since softball is part of who I am. I look forward to my future and becoming a part of a college softball program that feels like family and continues to make me a better person and player everyday.
