I didn’t realize the love I had for the sport until I was injured my 8th grade year. I was out for the season and it really made me reflect on the effort I put in beforehand. After I was released, softball was all I wanted to do. I began to practice harder with the team and on my own. I worked on my fundamentals every chance I got. My goal at that time was to get a starting spot in slow pitch of my 9th grade year. After all the hard work and support from my family I did it. I’ve been starting on the slow pitch and fast pitch team ever since.
I enjoy playing all sports on my off time, but softball has always been my main priority. I like to go mud riding, sing, and hang out with my friends. Academically I’ve always been pretty sound.
