Personal Statement

I am currently 14 years old, 5 feet 4 inches, and 102 pounds.  I have a 4.0 GPA and am a member of the National Junior Honor Society.  I really love playing softball and have been playing little league since I was 5 years old, and am currently in my second year of travel softball.  I enjoy the game and would love to play at a college level.  I always try to be the first one on and first one off the field, hustle while I play, and I try my best in any position.  I excel at 1st base, 3rd base, and short stop but have played every postion except pitcher and catcher.

For college, I would like to stay close to home/local in Michigan, but have also considered Florida.  I am not particular to the size of the school.  I am more interested in their programs involving my desired major, Aeronautical Engineering.

My more short term goals are to make the Varsity Softball team for my high school, Carlson High School and to be admitted to the National Honors Society.  I am going into high school with a 4.0 GPA.  My academics are very important to me and I strive to do well in school. My goal is to graduate high school with a 4.0 GPA.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
