I am Jessica Perez, and I am in the graduating class of 2017 at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School. I have a passion for softball, and it is my dream to play softball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in psychology. I work hard on the field and in the classroom, and I would like to go to a school where academic excellence is the standard and a softball program that would push me to be a better athlete. I have attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School since 7th grade, and have taken all honors classes, as well as AP classes. My sophomore year of high school, I was JV team captain and led the team with 9 home runs and in slugging percentage. I believe it is my leadership, hard work ethic, and drive that make me a great student athlete.
