Hello
I am a Junior (2017) from Prospect Heights, IL and I am very interested in playing college softball. I am looking for a school that has strong academics in addition to a good softball program. Last season I was starting Varsity catcher, and earned the Most Improved Varsity Player award for 2015. I have played every position on the field, including pitcher. I think knowing how to pitch makes me a better catcher. I have been playing softball as long as I can remember, and starting playing full-time travel at 10U. I am a power hitter, with a very strong batting average. For academics, I currently have a 4.8/5.0 grade point average at a top ranked high school and plan on studying science, engineering or possibly something in the medical field. For other interests, I’m also a varsity cheerleader and volunteer my time for community service through our school’s Service Over Self group. I’m very focused, and a hard worker, seeking to do my best. I enjoy being part of a team and try to be confident and encouraging to others.
