July 2016Personal Statement
My goal is to play softball in college, to earn a degree in biology or biomedical science, and ultimately attend Veterinary Medical School. I'm a great candidate for your team because I'm a well-rounded student who is involved in activities other than softball for example: Chorus, FCA, church youth group, and community service. Despite these activities, I maintain a commitment to my education and my grades. I have a 4.278 GPA and am currently taking both Honors and AP courses; I am also ranked #1 in my class of 371 students at Northside High School. I currently play travel ball for the East Cobb Bullets coached by Cliff Byars. I am a catcher, and I have a 0.500 BA, 0.762 SLG, and 0.563 OBP. In addition, I was a direct select for the USA Elite Select All American - Southeast Team for the 2016 All-American Games. My team was ranked #22 in the Flo Softball Top 50 team rankings, and we look forward to having a great, fun-filled season!
