Personal Statement

I am proud to be the son of a NCAA Division I All-American and an Army Ranger.  They have taught me how to set goals and how to work hard to achieve them.  My passion for football is only surpassed by my commitment to academics.  I enjoy helping make those around me better in the classroom, on the field, and in my community.

I have been a consistent top academic performer in the Georgia Milestones standardized testing.  Last year, I scored in the 99th percentile in math and science nationally.  As a member of the Duke University's Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP), I scored a 19 on the ACT as a seventh grader, and an 1160 on the SAT as an 8th grader.  I am also a member of the Junior National Honors Society, Student Council, and Velocity and volunteer my time at a local nursing home.

I am a multi-sport athlete at my school, competing in soccer, football, basketball, and track and field.  Last year I was honored to be named the captain of my football team, and fortunate enough to earn the all-time single season scoring record.  I also played for team Georgia in the Future Stars Game - Georgia vs Florida, the FBU National Championship Tournament for team South Atlanta, the Gridiron Kings All-American Game in Sarasota, FL, and the DMAXX All-American Game in New Rochelle, NY.

I am excited about my future, and I am looking forward to all the challenges that lie ahead.
