Ever since I started playing softball in 2006, I've had a passion to be the best that I can be in the game that I love. In 2011, at the age of 12, I earned a spot as the starting pitcher on a competitive travel team and have continued to sharpen my pitching skills with the help of a wonderful coach, Bill Corbett in San Diego. Coach Bill has taught me how to have great mechanics and how to move the ball to be effective in the circle. This summer (2014) I pitched in four national tournaments going 15-3 with a 1.74 ERA.
In addition to softball, I am an accomplished student who works just as hard to achieve the best results in the classroom. I am currently holding a 4.0 GPA and I am challenging myself this school year (Sophmore) with two advanced placement courses. I'd like to attend a high academic college.
I also serve 3 and 4 year olds two hours per week as a student leader in my AWANA church leadership development program. Character is very important to me, as I believe it is the basis for who we are and who we will become.
My goals in college are to contribute to the heritage of the school through excellence in academics, softball, and leadership.
