Sydney Jensen '21 Recruiting Profile

I started playing softball and pitching when I was 7 years old. What started out as a

sport to occupy my time has become my passion and part of who I am. I take pride in

being able to play travel softball at an elite level. Ultimately, my dream is to play

college ball. I think the key to my success so far has been talent but mostly hard work.

I work hard every week trying to get better at what I do. When I pitch in games I am

always supportive of my teammates and respectful of my coaches because I know

there is no 'I' in team and winning is a team effort. My biggest inspiration is my dad

for catching me all these years. I would not be where I am in this sport had it not been

for his support. My role model is Jennie Finch. She is beautiful both on the inside and

outside and had an amazing pitching career.
