The important lessons I have learned from the game are to work hard even when nobody is watching, how to be a positive member of a team in victory and in defeat, and to push myself to the next level where I originally thought impossible.
I would like to play softball for a college with a reputation of excellence but also awards winning in academics. Work ethic is a top priority for me. My parents have always told me when you're doing nothing someone will always be there to outwork you.
Not only do I love playing softball, but I also love being a student of the game. When I am not on the field I continue to learn by watching game footage and learn for the greats as well as critique my own game footage.
