Savannah Flinn 20...Personal Statement
My name is Savannah Flinn and I am a sophomore at Beaumont High School, in Beaumont, CA. Last season I was the only freshman starter on the varsity team. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and I have grown to love this sport and I have worked hard to improve my skills. I am a dedicated, hard worker that will always give my all, both on and off the field. I consider myself a team player and always look to encourage my teammates and help them improve their skills.
I also work hard in the classroom. I finished my freshman year with a 3.75 GPA while taking 3 honor classes and I currently have a 3.75 GPA while taking honors classes and my first AP class. Last year I played on the JV Golf team, but this season I am on the Varsity Golf team and was selected by my coaches as one of the captains of the team. I also like to work with children's groups and do so at my former elementary school in their Friday Night Live program.
