Ever since I was a little kid I've been watching my high school play and have dreamed of playing in college. I would be a good candidate for your team because I'm a versatile and "coachable" player. I would put the team before myself. I work to always improve not just myself but also my teammates. I am different from other recruits because I have Maintained a 4.0 GPA, in either honors or AP classes. I am a team player, not an individual player with a no-quit attitude. I realize the coaches around me know more than me and listen to them and make adjustments according to their gameplan. Athletically speaking, I started for my school's varsity team due to injury and lineup changes. When the injured players healed, I had earned the spot and proved I was the best fit for the team at the setting position. I was the first ever freshman setter to start for Hempfield High School, which has won a total of 10 PIAA State Championships in 21 years under Coach Mike Vogel. Currently, I am in my Sophomore year, and have been training in the off season and am expected to start varsity for both our 18s club team and the Varsity team in the spring. I plan on improving my skill further, throughout high school, college, and beyond that.
