I will start my 2nd season at SBCC this spring 2018. I am looking forward to being a team captain and starting setter. I love playing beach volleyball in the off season & lifting weights. I am on track to have 62 hours completed in the spring. I still have 1 year of Red Shirt eligibility and want to transfer to a 4 year school & play volleyball. I feel like I am even stronger, bigger and better than in high school.
In my Freshman and Sophomore year of high school I played football, club volleyball and high school volleyball. I have excellent hand eye coordination. I have always been fast for my height. In football, I developed great hands and strength as a wide receiver and defensive end. I have been told throughout my career in sports that I am very coachable, respectful, hard working and a disciplined athlete. I believe these skills are necessary to be a standout setter.
