As a high jumper I have always been told I have very good technique and approach, and I have recently been trying to improve my vertical because at this point that is what is holding me back the most as a jumper. To do that I have been doing a lot of work with my sprint coach for my club team because I also intend to expand past high jump to run the 400 also. Outside of track I am currently working on becoming an Eagle Scout, I am an AP student, I am involved in choir and theater as well as my church, and I have a job teaching swim lessons at the community center in my town. I am pursuing collegiate track and field because frankly I love it and I love the feeling of competition.
