Personal Statement
I am a 6' 1" track athlete from Altoona, PA. I have participated in track since 7th grade and compete in many events such as long jump, high jump, hurdles, javelin, and most importantly pole vault. For the 2010 season I was the best in the state for pole vault in the 9th grade, finishing with a height of 12' 9". For the 2011 season I was again top in the state and jumped 13' 9''. I have always been on the honor roll, have a 4.0 GPA, and take academics very seriously. I am looking for a college that meets my academic and athletic requirements.
