Personal Statement
My name is Taylor Plank. I've been running Cross-Country for the past 3 years and was a Varsity runner my Freshmen year. The following year I was awarded MVP of the Long Island Lutheran Cross-Country team. As a current Junior, I lead my Cross-Country team to an Undefeated season in the IPPSAL conference as captain. I placed first in every conference meet. I was awarded Runner of The Year in the IPPSAL conference. My goal for next years Cross-Country season is to be running my 5K's in 15:00-15:59 minutes. I ran in the 10K Cow-Harbor race this past September and placed 2nd in my age group, seconds off first. I have also ran the Long Island Marathon in four hours and my goal is to do an Iron Man.
