I started swimming in 8th grade as a way to stay in shape between ski seasons. After swimming for Tamalpais High School freshmen and sophomore year, I realized I was a natural butterflier. I joined the Marin Pirates coached by Warren Lager near the middle of junior year. Despite the late start, I have already qualified for Spring Junior Nationals and have aspirations to qualify for Winter Junior Nationals. I hope to swim at a collegiate level and study business.
