Personal Statement

My name is Alex Cooper. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 175 pounds. I've been playing competitive soccer since I was 9 years old. For 4 years now, I have played for FC Alliance 98B Black R3PL (formerly known as 99B R3PL). Our team currently completes in the SRPL Premier East League and is currently undefeated and untied after 5 matches. Our team has had a history of success, as a two time Division 1, TN state finalist (2013, 2014) and winners of the NPL South Atlantic Premier League (2013). Last winter (December 2015) we were finalists at the U17 Disney Soccer Showcase, B17 Championship Black. Team (3 years). We will attend CASL and Disney again this fall. During the spring I enjoy playing for nationally ranked Farragut High School. As a three year letterman, I look forward to my Senior year and look to lead the team to a state championship. Off the field, I work hard to lead by example in the classroom (3.6 GPA). My desire is to play at the highest level possible at a college in the Southeast and earn a quality degree that I can put to good use after soccer.
