My name is Gavin Wilkinson from Farragut High School in Knoxville, TN. I am a 6’3” pro-style QB in the 2020 graduating class. My current GPA is a 3.0 and will improve with much hard work and determination. Most of my childhood, I have been a 3 sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball. However this year, I decided to drop baseball to focus more heavily on football and basketball in the off-season. I started on both the freshman and JV football teams this year and served as a backup QB on the varsity team with limited playing time. I am proud to be part of the 2016 TN 5A State Championship football team. It was an honor to dress with the varsity team all season and be the only freshman to receive varsity playing time at my high school. I was also the first freshman QB to receive varsity playing time in over 30 years of Farragut Football. I am currently working this off-season to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am projected to be 6’4” or taller, and my goal is to compete on the highest level possible. I am looking for a college that cares about its athletes and will prepare me to be great on and off the football field. I have not yet decided on a major, but I am leaning towards possibly going into the business/marketing field. I envision my college years to be a personal growth period and want to attend a college that will guide that growth. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college football career, I will strive to be an asset to any offense. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself will reflect on my family, my team, my coaches, and any school I am blessed to attend.
