Hello, I am William Koper. I am a center mid fielder on my school (Wilson High AAAA ), and club team (FC Revolution Blaugrana U18). I have been a starter on my high school varsity squad since my freshman year at age 14 often playing against players 4 years or older. This past year our team was 17-4-2 and was in Pennsylvania District III quarterfinals. As a junior I started every game and scored 5 goals and had 7 assists. I was named all county 2nd team. I have played 3 years on the Eastern Pennsylvania ODP team. I feel my greatest strength is controlling the midfield and strategically and quickly creating opportunities to score.
In soccer I know a lot of people believe that the best soccer talent is found on academy teams. I have made a commitment to play for my high school team and for the club team that has helped developed me since I was a youth. I am determined to show that kids who choose to be play for their hometown for and with the teammates that have known since early childhood can excel at the highest level. I promise that when I make a commitment to a team and teammates I will always strive to excel at the highest level.
As a student-athlete, I am also focused on academics. I was awarded Magna Cum Laude honors for my freshman year and sophomore year. As a junior I have a schedule that includes, honors and or AP courses in all major subjects I currently have a GPA of 3.84 and I am ranked 48/514 and in the top 10% of my class. I have not yet taken my SAT or ACT. I am also involved in Future Business Leaders of America and the Key Club and organization committed to encouraging community service.
