Joseph Hunter '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph John Hunter Jr. To describe myself, I am five feet, seven inches tall and I weigh roughly 140 pounds. I can also run a forty-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. Some of my most important accomplishments include playing varsity high-school soccer as a freshman and a sophomore (being the only one of my age on the team), continuing to play soccer for more than twelve years,and winning the Lititz College Showcase Tournament for my club team (Colonial Knights) and also coming in second in the PA Classics College Showcase Tournament. I recently just won the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association State Challenge Cup Final. This was a huge accomplishment for my team and I; being only the second team from our entire soccer club to win a State Cup Final. I feel that I would be a vital assest to any team that needs me. I can offer leadership, being a captain for my club team. I can definitely offer hard work because I come to practice each and every day and go to work. I do not mess around when it comes down to soccer, I practice the way I play and I am very serious about it. Finally, I can offer heart. Even through thick and thin, I stay confident and work hard. Its my drive that keeps me going, especially because I dream to play soccer in college. Speaking of college, I don't have a distinct opinion yet where I want to go, but I am open to different types of schools. My most desired goal as of right now is to make a college soccer team and make the biggest positive impact that I can and to provide as much work and dedication I can to that team.
