My name is Sam Gettings from Overland Park, KS. I am a Senior at Blue Valley Southwest High School graduating in May, 2017. I am a hardworking and ambitious individual, with excellent communication and relationship skills. I like to succeed in all the goals I take on and set high standards and motivational objectives for myself. As a soccer player, I am very fast with quick acceleration and can run for miles. I have great one on one skill, touch on the ball, good vision for the game, and a heads up player always looking for the advantage to score goals for the team. I can play Winger, Outside Back, Forward and Central Midfield. I work very hard and when I set my mind to something, I will do everything I possibly can to achieve it. I will do whatever is asked by my professors or coaches to be successful on and off the field. My goal in college is to get my degree and be a regular starter for a Division 1 caliber soccer team by my sophomore year. I want to major in the areas of Physical Therapy, Industrial Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Actuarial Science, Accounting or the Medical Field.
