Hi my name is Dylan Lemesh, I am 6’ and weigh 170 pounds. I currently play goalkeeper for LA Galaxy OC B02 team as I get ready to head into my sophomore year at Martin Luther King High School located in Riverside, CA. I will graduate in 2020 and afterwards hope to attend a competitive soccer program while majoring in psychology or engineering. I would like to stay close to home, but if the right opportunity presented itself I would take it.
I take my academics seriously and hope to improve my overall GPA the next few years at King High School. I want to not only attend a top notch university as an athlete, but also as a scholar.
Helping Hands, Children's Fund and placing flags out in honor of our fallen soldiers at the National Cemetery here in Riverside, CA are great opportunities for me to give back to my community and country. I also enjoy giving keeper lessons to my brother’s recreational team when he plays soccer.
I find the game of soccer strategic like the game of chess, especially playing the goalkeeper position. When to attack, when to fall back and where to place defenders and midfielders for defensive coverage. The game is constantly moving and the strategy changes on the fly. I love every aspect of the game. Physical or mental, I take every challenge head on.
After college, I would like to continue playing soccer in a professional soccer league. I would maybe someday head back to school and attain a master in psychology or engineering. My ultimate goal is to play the highest competitive level of soccer while obtaining a high level of education.
