Nicky McConnell '16 Recruiting Profile

Currently I am a Senior attending Los Altos High School in California. Being 6 foot 4 has given me the advantage to be strong in the air as well as aggressive on the ground. There is never a time where I will try less than 100% to fight for a ball or to train.  

As a freshman on JV I was elected MVP by my team for being to heart and soul of the defense. During my freshman year on JV and sophomore year on Varsity I was proven a strong asset to the team as well as a strong leader. I play a key role in making sure our defense stays organized and strong through out the game. 

Throughout my life in soccer, school, and boy scouts I exempt a hard working behavior. I love to work hard and push myself to become a better athlete during practices and in games. I never hesitate to take on leadership roles like being captain of my club team or as a scout leader in boy scouts. 

I can't imagine going to a college and not playing soccer. I am always looking for a new challenge and to push myself to play at new levels. Playing collegiate soccer would be the best way for me to improve my soccer skills and would be an experience I would never forget.
