I am not your average teenager and although my grades could be better my ability to run a business now is why I am looking to continue my education. I currently own a small company called Seths AAA (Anything, Anytime,Anywhere) It started as a lawn care business of 3 clients just 2 summers ago. Now I have 10 regular clients as well as several part time clients that I mow for. In addition I handle all their snow removal. This year we started doing the mulch, weed removal and shrub trimming for my clients and I have had to hire 2 part time employees. In addition we help hang christmas lights as well as help people clean out their basements, garages, and attics. So I want to go to school to help me better understand what it takes to run a larger business or possibly start franchising this one to other areas. Now I am not sure that I want to mow yards my whole life but I do know I want to be my own boss. I am also part of the JROTC here and wish to continue this in college as well
I have played a ton of different sports over the years but Lacrosse is my favorite. I play goalie but on a HS team that is stacked with All State players. So I get most of my playing time with my club team. The Central PA Dawgs coached by Dave Webster from Dickinson College. I am the starting 2017 goalie and through the summer tourneys so far this year have a 60+% save percentage and a 5.3 GAA. Not too bad for my first year with them and more tourneys to come. I played for twist last year but really wanted a smaller college run program as I didnt feel I was advancing my game. I take the Brian Dockerty goalie school every winter. I used to play football but you can only be the smallest OL for so long so this year was the first time since 1st grade that I did not play. Again we dont rebuild here at Wilson we reload and I went from 1st string in 8th grade to 3rd string in 9th because I was 5'6" and an O-Lineman LOL as you can picture I didnt do very well especially when most kids were 6ft in 9th grade. Im now 5'11 and only 16 so im still growing (My parents wish id stop eating).
As far as character, well you cant get much better I not being conceded just honest. I keep my word! I try with everything I have especially if I love what I am doing! I am working on my grades until this summer I didnt realize how important they really are and I know where they are at now may turn a few of you away I hope that you can see that when I enjoy something the grades are there which is why I am looking so forward to collge and studying towards my goals and not whats mandated.
I hope to hear from some of you as nothing would make my dad happier than seeing me on ESPN. Nothing howver would make me happier than using lacrosse to get my business degree.
