Donovan Palmer '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Donovan Palmer and I am from Pittsburgh, Pa and I want to play lacrosse in college. I currently play varsity lacrosse for Plum Senior High School and for my club team, Apex Lacrosse. I also play varsity hockey for my school and for an elite AAA club team called the Esmark Stars as we are apart of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL). I have played in many elite tournaments and showcases for both lacrosse and hockey. I want to play college lacrosse at a school that is a right for me.

I am a very athletic and strong at the attack position, as I also can play midfield. Things coaches like that separate me from other players is that I am very hardworking and I am a team first guy and I have always had that mentality.  I show up to every practice, game, workout, and film session trying to be a better player and try to take my game to the next level. Coaches also like that i can play on the right side of the attack position so that I can use my dominate left handed shot and to feed passes to make plays. I am a very focused kid on both the field and in the classroom trying to maintain my academics so that I am able to play college lacrosse. I currently have a 3.3/4.0 GPA. I know how important good grades are to get into a school to play lacrosse as well as being a skilled, developed and hardworking athlete. I am always working on my game on the field or off in workout sessions and I also make time for my academics. 

My main goal is to play college lacrosse and I will do anything to make that dream come true. I want to go to a college that is the right fit for me athletically and academically. I feel that I have the potential of playing at a good college and I feel that I have the heart and hard work to get me there.
