My name is Quinn Bowler and I am a sophomore at Corning Painted Post High School. My graduation year is 2020. I have recently completed a successful summer travel season where our team enjoyed a very exciting run, with a final record of 19-0. We won 5 championships at some very prestigious tournaments throughout the summer. I am excited to get moving into the fall travel season now with my club team Gaffer Elite Lacrosse and 3D Upstate where I will be able to continue to develop my skills competing against top level talent.
I am a self motivated individual both academically and athletically and I have had to work very hard in the classroom and on the field. I have very high expectations for myself and believe that because of my work ethic I would be a great fit for a wide range of college teams.
Some of the things that set me apart from other players is that I am a multi sport athlete as I also play AA Hockey as a defenseman. I am also left handed which is not that common and if you watched my game closely you would see the right hand is as equally strong. Others have described my abilities as "clutch", "slick" or "shifty". I have exceptional field vision and I am able to find cutters and make great passes very naturally. I am considered a leader on and off the field. I try to encourage all of my teammates throughout the season to develop and take great pride when they have accomplished individual success in games.
