David Cordes '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Cordes and I am a senior at Somers High School. I am 17 years old, 6.1', 175 lbs, and have been playing lacrosse for 9 years. As a player, I am very coachable and adapt to different systems. As a teammate I am cooperative and respectful, and hold an integrity not found in many teenagers. I set a good example for others, evidenced by my two years as team captain. I am dedicated and hardworking on both the field and in the classroom, holding the importance of grades equal to athletics. My goal is to find an academically strong college with a lacrosse program on which I can contribute. My desire is to gain the respect of my coach and teammates through demonstrating my high defensive skill. I will strive to be the defender that the coach looks to when there's a dangerous attack man.
