Daymond Kovaly '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Daymond Kovaly, and I started playing hockey when i was 4 years old, ever since then all I ever wanted to do with my life was to play hockey. My best friend, family, teammates, coaches, and all of my other friends have been great to me and made me who I am today. Hockey was something that grew on me. My whole family loves hockey so growing up and watching hockey on TV, going to the local AHL teams games, and even playing hockey just made me really love the game. Through my time of playing hockey, I have learned that I can be a great team player and a great leader. Right now, I have a gpa of 2.8. My goal is to raise that to at least a 3.25-3.5 and to make a great college team. I do believe I stand out from other goaltenders because of my skating ability, my composure is always strong and i focus on making the next save rather than what happened in the past, and I have the ability to keep my team in the game and to give them a chance to win.
